Job title: Skills Coordinator (part time)
Location: Home based with occasional travel
Job Type: This is a part time, fixed term contract until November 2025. (22.2 hours per week)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Skills Coordinator to join our Education Development Trust careers team.
The primary focus of the role of Skills Coordinator is to ensure that skills-based qualification delivery runs smoothly and to ensure that professional qualifications are effectively delivered to a range of internal and external staff. The role will liaise directly with awarding bodies, internal lead verifiers, managers and tutors to ensure that learner details and registrations are accurate. They will manage the relevant skills staff utilisation and skills delivery platforms to support with the effective and quality delivery of skills qualifications.
- Experience of working in adult skills delivery or the education sector and working directly with awarding organisations
- Experience of working in operational administration
- Experience of working on project delivery with proven ability to identify and prioritise project deliverables on multiple projects, escalate issues and experience of progressing/escalating tasks to team members
- Experience or confidence in communicating with a range of different internal and external stakeholders » Ability to deal confidently with colleagues at different levels, developing good professional relationships and building trust
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of holding responsibility for delegated project
- Experience of assessment centre working for the delivery of accredited qualifications and with knowledge of awarding body requirements
