Job Summary:

ABC International Pharmacy FZE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacist specializing in sterile compounding of medications within clean room environments for IV treatments. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and be able to manage and lead a team in a compounding pharmacy. This role involves overseeing the sterile preparation of medications, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are met, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the sterile compounding team in the preparation of intravenous (IV) treatments and other sterile medications in accordance with GMP guidelines.
Ensure all compounding processes are conducted in a clean room environment, maintaining the sterility of products and equipment.
Manage the compounding pharmacy’s GMP manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to all applicable standards and regulations.
Oversee and ensure proper documentation of all compounding processes, batch records, and GMP compliance documentation.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of patient safety and product integrity.
Provide training and mentorship to the compounding team, ensuring proficiency in sterile techniques, GMP protocols, and adherence to safety regulations.
Collaborate with the quality assurance department to conduct audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in sterile compounding and GMP manufacturing.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Licensed Pharmacist with a degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D. or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of experience in sterile compounding, preferably in a clean room environment.
In-depth knowledge of GMP manufacturing standards and proven experience in leading sterile compounding teams.
Strong understanding of clean room protocols, aseptic techniques, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USP 797, 800).
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead, train, and motivate staff in a dynamic environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex compounding procedures while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulatory bodies.
