Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) is one of the world’s leading centres for research into the causes, prevention, and treatment of chronic diseases (such as cancer, renal and heart disease).
We are seeking a Research Facilitator with strong organisational and analytical skills needed to support and take forward a range of projects within the CTSU. The post-holder will have responsibility for designing studies and applying for the relevant ethics and other permissions, primary data collection, and developing applications for funding for new or continuation projects.
To be considered, you will have a postgraduate qualification in epidemiology, statistics or a health related science with experience of trial coordination, study design or protocol development and permissions processes for research involving primary data collection. You will have experience of grant writing as well as excellent organisation and communication skills.
The position is full time (part time considered) and fixed term for one year. The closing date for applications is noon on 17 October 2024.
