Cleaning Assistant (Part-time - 18 hours per week - Wed: 7am – 2pm, Thurs: 7am – 2pm , Fri: 7am – 2pm - including 30 minute unpaid break each day)
We have a part time vacancy within our Facilities team.
We are looking for a Cleaning Assistant to join our Facilities Team within our Currency division.
The primary role of the Cleaning Assistant position is to undertake all aspects of cleaning and maintaining tidiness of the manufacturing areas including on-site offices.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an iconic British manufacturer and global leader of Banknotes and Authentication solutions. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy based at our Debden site.
What will you be doing?
- Work as part of a team to ensure that the highest standards of hygiene are maintained in all areas of the site
- Wash down and sanitise the factory as per a daily/weekly schedule that covers the entire production facility.
- To follow all hygiene, food safety, quality, health and safety procedures at all times
- Completing daily and weekly duty checklist and store appropriately
- Supporting the production and technical teams in ad hoc duties
- Be responsible in the handling and storage of chemicals.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a manufacturing environment
